Amber Sample, Administrative & Logistics Associate
Pronouns: she, her, hers
Amber’s Apprenticeship: Amber helps to expand the Partnerships team’s capacity to build relationships with nonprofit, government agencies and other employers in the social sector. She conducts research and execute projects to enhance internal systems and processes, and support data collection and entry to improve strategic outreach efforts.
Background: Amber is a Baltimore native and a second year ally. In high school Amber was part of a youth professional development program called Urban Alliance where she interned in Congressman Elijah Cummings’ office. This experience propelled her into the nonprofit world and has been a motivation for her to live out her motto: "Try to leave the Earth a little better than when you found it". As a second year ally at Baltimore Corps she hopes to make connections with others doing Change-Making work in Baltimore City, as well as serves a connector for others looking to make an impact.
