The Elevation Awards provide early investment grants of $10,000 and personalized support to people of color living in Baltimore City who are building novel approaches to strengthen Baltimore communities. The aims of the Elevation Awards are as follows:
Directly leveraging the assets of communities to pioneer new solutions in social entrepreneurship
Elevating BIPOC leaders with community solutions
Supporting the early-stage pipeline of social entrepreneurs in Baltimore
After the 10-month grant period, awardees will have the opportunity to showcase their projects to prospective funders.
The application for the 2025 Elevation Awards is OPEN.

THE ELEVATION AWARDS 2023 SHOWCASE
The 7th Cohort of Elevation Awardees completed the program in November 2023. This year’s awardees presented their cohort projects through an engaging live event. Throughout the program year, our awardees were given a unique opportunity to meet with subject matter experts, learn from a specialized curriculum, and create a community to network and collaborate with.
