The Manager will oversee partnerships with community organizations, as well as manage systems for direct community outreach and applicant engagement activities, in-person, by phone, and online.

 

Clean Corps Program Manager

The Clean Corps Program Manager will support the underinvested neighborhoods for the initiative, which includes building trust with the neighborhood leaders, the Department of Public Works, and other city agencies and other stakeholders. The Program Manager will conduct on-site visits to strengthen connections and monitor the work under the grant agreement. They will maintain regular communication with neighborhood leaders to support them and to enhance the project’s success, including providing training and technical support to maintain compliance with the City.

 

Local Health Improvement Coalition Fellow

The Baltimore City Health Department, Local Health Improvement Coalition is seeking a Fellow to support the work of developing two key strategies, as part of a 5-year CDC grant initiative. The Fellow will lead, under the guidance of the LHIC director, 2 key strategies to address the structural barriers to diabetes prevention. The work includes developing a strategy to improve referrals to social needs and addressing the social determinants of health for people at risk for diabetes. Note, this is a 1 year position and will have the opportunity to renew, depending on funding.
